Delivery & Collection
Do you offer delivery?
Yes, we offer local delivery across Birmingham. If you're within our delivery area, you can select delivery at checkout and we'll bring your freshly baked order straight to your door.
We are a local Birmingham business and do not currently offer nationwide or international shipping. Every order is baked fresh on the day, which means same-day delivery within our area.
Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver locally across Birmingham and the surrounding areas. If you're unsure whether we cover your postcode, please get in touch before placing your order and we'll let you know straight away.
Can I collect my order in person?
Absolutely — collection is available from our kitchen at 197F Hagley Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham, B16 9RD. When placing your order, select collection at checkout and we'll confirm your ready time.
We're also opening our first proper bakery in Edgbaston very soon, where you'll be able to walk in and take home something baked that very morning.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We bake every order fresh from scratch, so we do ask for some notice. As a general guide, please order at least 24 to 48 hours in advance. For larger orders, gift boxes, or event catering, the more notice the better. We would recommend at least a week for anything sizeable.

Can I change or cancel my order?
Because everything is baked specifically for you, we ask that any changes or cancellations are made as early as possible. Ideally, please let us know at least 24 hours before your collection or delivery time.

How much does delivery cost?
Delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your location. Collection from our Edgbaston kitchen is always free.
Our Baklava & Ingredients
Is your baklava halal?
Yes. All of our products are made using halal-certified ingredients. We do not use alcohol or any pork-derived ingredients. If you have any specific dietary questions, please get in touch before ordering.
What allergens are in your products?
Our products contain the following allergens:
Gluten (wheat): all of our baklava and pastry products contain wheat flour in the filo pastry.
Tree nuts: pistachios and walnuts are used across our range. Each product is clearly labelled with its specific nut content.
Milk: some products contain dairy, including our Trilece cakes and cream-filled varieties such as Sobiyet and Cinnamon Walnut Milk Baklava.
Eggs: used in some of our cakes and cheesecakes.
Our kitchen handles all of these allergens. We cannot guarantee that any product is completely free from cross-contamination. If you have a severe allergy, please contact us before ordering so we can advise you fully.
Are your products suitable for vegans or vegetarians?
All of our baklava is vegan as standard. We use no dairy or animal products in our baklava recipes.
If you would prefer your baklava made with butter, we can accommodate this for an additional cost. Simply place your order as normal and contact us afterwards to request the upgrade and we will amend your order.
Our Trilece cakes and San Sebastian Cheesecake contain dairy and eggs and are not suitable for vegans. They are suitable for vegetarians.
Where do you source your ingredients?
Nothing artificial, nothing cheap. Our pistachios are sourced from Turkey, where the finest varieties are grown. Our filo pastry and sugar are carefully selected and held to a high standard across every batch.
We believe the quality of baklava starts long before it goes in the oven.
Is everything really baked fresh to order?
Yes, always. Nothing is pre-made, nothing sits on a shelf waiting to be sold. Every order is made from scratch the day it leaves our kitchen. This is how Fatma has always done it, and it is not something we are willing to compromise on.
It takes longer. That's the point.
How should I store my baklava and how long will it keep?
Standard baklava (no dairy): store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. For best quality, we recommend enjoying it within 14 days of receiving your order. Do not refrigerate standard baklava as this can soften the pastry.
Dairy-containing products (Trilece cakes, Sobiyet, Cinnamon Walnut Milk Baklava and San Sebastian Cheesecake): these must be kept refrigerated and are best enjoyed within 3 days of receiving your order.
All storage guidance is provided for quality purposes. Please use your own judgement and do not consume any product that does not look or smell as expected. If you are unsure, please do not consume it.
In our experience, it rarely lasts that long either way.
Ordering & Gifting
How do I place an order?
Simply browse our range, add your chosen products to the basket, and complete checkout. You will receive an order confirmation by email, and we will be in touch to confirm your collection time or delivery slot.

Can I customise a gift box?
Our gift boxes come in a selection of pre-curated varieties: pistachio, chocolate and mixed. For custom combinations or specific requests, please contact us directly and we will do our best to accommodate you.
For large or personalised gifting orders for weddings, corporate events or Eid, please get in touch as early as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Do you cater for weddings, Eid or special events?
Yes. Baklava has always been part of celebrations in Turkish culture, at Eid, weddings, and family gatherings. We would be honoured to be part of yours.
For event orders, please contact us as early as possible with the date, quantities and any specific requirements. Email us at support@baklavaciuk.com and we'll work with you from there.
Do you offer a gift message or special packaging?
If you'd like to include a gift message with your order, please add a note at checkout and we'll make sure it's included. For special packaging requests, get in touch and we'll see what we can do.
Corporate & Wholesale
Do you supply restaurants, cafés or businesses?
Yes. We have been supplying restaurants, cafés and food businesses across Birmingham for many years. If you're interested in stocking or serving Baklavaci baklava, we'd love to hear from you.
Do you offer corporate gifting for offices or events?
Absolutely. Our luxury gift boxes make a distinctive and memorable corporate gift — whether it's for client appreciation, staff gifting, or an event. We can accommodate bulk orders with advance notice and can discuss custom quantities and packaging.
Can I place a bulk or standing order?
Yes. We work with a number of businesses on regular standing orders. If you'd like to arrange a recurring order — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — please get in touch and we'll find an arrangement that works for both of us.
